Hans Christian Andersen was afamous writer of stories for  .he was born into a poor   in Denmark in 1805.His father  when he was seven. Hans  a few jobs. Finally ,at the age of fourteen he    to the capital of Denmark to work in the theatre. Then he went on to study and he traveled around Europe.
His first book   out in 1882.He    many stories for children, but older people also liked them.  of his stories are very famous, like The ugly Duckling and The little Match girl .people still like to read them today and they can read them in many    .
